New York, September 24 (USPA-Statcom) – A group of Venezuelan human rights activists gathered outside the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York today to protest against the government of President Nicolás Maduro, calling attention to alleged human rights abuses in Venezuela. Holding signs with messages like "#SOS Venezuela," the demonstrators aimed to raise international awareness about the ongoing political and humanitarian crisis in their country.
